Son of Heaven

In the Kingdom of Heaven, in the hall of the prayer recorder, all prayers were accepted and sent to God for approval. The recorder noticed that one particular prayer, despite its high-priority status and a royal divine signature, had always been rejected. He was astonished, as he had never before encountered a prayer of such high status being rejected.

Taking it personally, he hurried to the Throne of Glory, knelt, and presented the prayer request to God with both hands. “Father,” he said, “this prayer carries a divine signature; it needs urgent attention.”

God looked upon it, inhaled deeply, and filled the atmosphere with His glory. Then, astonishingly, God ignored the prayer and turned His back on it, without saying a word, signaling a total rejection never before seen in Heaven. The recorder was dumbfounded, filled with surprise and confusion, but he managed to speak.

“Father,” he paused for a moment, and continued, “It’s Jesus’s prayer; He is in distress and needs help.” Yet God remained silent, and for a moment, there was silence in Heaven. After a while, God turned to the recorder and said, “The prayer cannot be approved.” He then gave the recorder direct instructions: “No matter how many times the prayer is sent, continue to deny it.”

The recorder responded, “But Father, He is Your Son, and the world You sent Him to has turned against Him.”

God looked at him and said, “Rise to your feet.” The recorder stood up fully, his head bowed, and God continued, “They are all My sons. Now go and speak of this matter no more.”

The recorder took a full bow, turned, and left.

Meanwhile, on Earth, the preachers and prophets envied Jesus because he always spoke the truth and condemned the evil they were doing. The Devil, along with all his demons, sought to eliminate him as well, since he was turning many away from wickedness.

Both the Devil and the prophets wanted him dead, but they feared the numerous people who loved him. In response, the prophets and preachers devised a way to turn the crowd against him, accusing him of blasphemy. The Devil commanded his demons to enter the hearts of many, stirring hatred towards Jesus. Tragically, even one of his closest friends betrayed him by delivering him to his enemies for execution.

They couldn’t kill him outright because they feared the reaction of his devoted followers. Instead, they plotted and bribed the soldiers to apprehend him, fabricating a criminal offense to make the proceedings seem official. This way, they hoped to find charges against him and ultimately have him executed.

Angels prepared.

As the mighty Jesus kept praying to God, he received no approval. One night, Jesus was praying so fervently that his body began to weaken, and sweat poured from him as thick as blood. The angel assigned to guard him, whom no one could see, stood by feeling sorry for him. There was nothing he could do, as his power had been frozen; he could only observe but could not interfere.

Suddenly, Roman soldiers arrived with weapons of war, beat Jesus’s disciples, arrested him, and took him away. The angel quickly ascended to Heaven, straight to Archangel Michael, and reported everything that had happened, including how Jesus’ prayers had gone unanswered. Upon hearing that the Roman soldiers had taken Jesus, the Prince of Heaven, captive, Michael was filled with rage. He hurriedly donned his armor and summoned the heavenly warriors, assembling them for battle, their blazing swords drawn, and charged horses ready to launch an assault on Earth and lay waste to the earthly soldiers.

Archangel Michael led the charge as they marched to the gates of Heaven, just at the border of the blue sky. They gazed upon the Earth, searching for the land of Israel. Archangel Gabriel opened the portal, and the blue sky faded away, revealing the land of Israel, where Jesus became visible. Michael was about to march his army of angels into battle against the enemies of Jesus when suddenly, he heard the voice of God. The sound, like many thunderclaps, reverberated through the entire sky and was wondrous to hear: “Stand down and shield your swords.” The mighty host of Heaven stood but battle-ready, watching from the distant sky as the Son of God was dragged through the street, beaten and taken to a human court for judgment. Michael could not bear this humiliation; his sword trembled in his hand, and his finger was poised to call for battle, yet God did not approve the order, so he waited patiently.

The Judgment

After all the criminal charges brought against Jesus, the Judge examined everything critically and investigated every detail, yet he found no fault in Jesus. The Judge publicly stated, “I have done everything possible, but I find nothing against this man. This man, Jesus, is innocent, and He has done no wrong.”

The high-ranking preachers and prophets were enraged, declaring, “How dare you say He is innocent? This man calls Himself the Son of God!” The Judge responded, “Last time I checked, calling oneself the Son of God is not a crime, and anyone can claim to be the Son of God.” Yet the preachers disagreed and insisted, “We don’t care. We have decided that claiming to be the Son of God is an offense that must be punished.”

The Judge replied, “Even so, I cannot condemn a man based solely on that.” The preachers continued to pressure the Judge to execute Jesus, but he could not bring himself to kill an innocent man. Therefore, he allowed the people to decide. He brought forward a hardened criminal and the innocent Jesus for the public to choose who should live and who should die.

Knowing the Judge’s plan, the preachers quickly held an emergency meeting with their congregation. They bribed and brainwashed them to choose the criminal and have Jesus condemned. They falsely claimed that he was blaspheming against God, for anyone to declare themselves the Son of God. This tactic confused the people, leading them to believe the preachers’ lies and the Devil’s demons use the opportunity to create doubt in their hearts and influence their choices.

Many in the public chose to ignore the Prince of Peace and Savior, believing in the lies of the prophets and preachers. They followed the path laid out by their pastors and rejected the truth of God. As a result, the criminal was chosen, and Jesus was crucified.

Before he was finally crucified, the Judge, feeling pity for him, came to meet Jesus and asked, “Why are you so silent? Why did you not defend yourself?” One of the soldiers accompanying the Judge said, “If you are truly the Son of God, you would have called your angels to fight for you.”

Jesus replied, “Even right now, I could summon the entire heavenly angelic army to do battle for me.” The Judge asked curiously, “Why not summon them?”

Jesus responded, “I have the power to lay down my life, and I have the power to take it up again.” The other soldier, also curious, said, “Don’t you understand? They are going to take your life, and the Judge has the power to help you.”

Jesus replied, “I tell you, no one has power over my life; I lay it down freely for the remission of sins.” The Judge looked at him with pity, seeing him as naive, and shook his head before leaving. The soldiers then nailed him to the cross. As the nails drove into his palms, he cried out, causing the angelic armies to feel his pain and their anger to intensify. Their swords were drawn, thirsting for the blood of men, anticipating the order to attack. Yet, that order never came. The horses and chariots grew furious, restless, and battle-hungry. Eventually, the mighty Jesus gave up the ghost.

Heaven received the news.

When Jesus gave up the ghost, the Heavens took a deep breath, and the angels assembled at the border of the physical realm were saddened, as they had not been given the order to defend Him. Michael, the Archangel, flew back to the highest Heaven and made his way to the throne of grace. He knelt at the feet of God and said, “Father, the humans have crucified the Son of Heaven, and they are going to lay Him in a tomb.”

Hearing this, God took another deep breath, and the whole of Heaven was saturated with a warm, joyous glory that enveloped all heavenly creatures. God then said, “Raise My Son.” Michael rose with a sad countenance, not understanding what was happening. God continued, “You didn’t fail Me, so do not trouble your heart.”

“But why didn’t you allow me to defend Him? I was ready, but you stopped the order. Now he is dead, and Heaven is joyous—I don’t understand,” said Michael.

God replied, “He is My Son; He cannot die. The mission to redeem humanity by His blood was a burden He alone had to bear, and now He has accomplished it.”

There was a moment of silence, and then God called upon Michael. Michael responded, “Father,” his face now brightened and uplifted. “You will take Your angels and escort Your Lord home when He has finally defeated the Devil, the enemy of man. That is your mission now.”

Michael gladly responded, “Consider it done, Father,” and he turned to leave.

Then God called for the recorder, who is always by His side. The recorder came forward and worshiped Him. God said, “Now, let all prayers resume, and show the earth a sign that heaven is aware of Jesus’ death.” “Yes, Father,” the recorder responded.

God then said, “These shall be the signs: upon the twelfth hour, when the sun climbs higher, the Earth shall be dark. Let the drops of Jesus’ blood that fell upon the Earth bring life to those who have long died, and let the holy chamber in the temple be exposed.” “Let it be written and let it be done,” God commanded, and the scribe of Heaven recorded it.

Earth received the news.

When Jesus died at noon, darkness covered the land. At the moment His blood fell to the Earth, it shook and quaked; the rocks were split apart, and people who had long been dead and buried in the cemetery rose from their graves and began walking in the streets, trying to return to their homes. As if that were not enough, the curtain that separated the Holy of Holies, a place where only the priest could enter, was torn from top to bottom. This signified that everyone now had free access to God the Father’s presence. Those who witnessed these events said to one another, “Truly, this man is the Son of God.”

Hell Got the News

When Hell received the news that Jesus had given up the ghost and was no more, the inhabitants were jubilant. Satan was filled with happiness, and along with him, all the demons of Hell rejoiced, celebrating with music, dancing, and feasting. Little did they know, however, that their end was drawing near.

Michael, with his host of angels, escorted Jesus triumphantly and majestically to the gates of Hell, where the devils and their demons were celebrating the death of Jesus, believing they had won a mighty victory against Heaven. Upon reaching the gates, Michael held back, allowing only Jesus to walk through alone. Raphael suggested, “We can stop here; let’s follow Him.” But Michael replied, “No, this battle is for Him alone. Our mission is to honor Him by escorting Him this far; Gabriel and I will follow Him through, while the rest of you wait here.”

So, Jesus approached the gate of Hell and tried to open it gently, but it was locked from the inside. The demon guarding the gate noticed someone trying to force it open and raised the alarm. The demon lord of the gate came forward, demanding, “What is this disturbance during our great victory celebration?” The guard replied, “Someone is trying to force the gate open.” “Who could that be?” the demon lord asked. “I don’t know,” the guard replied. The demon lord approached the gate and shouted, “Who is there?”

With full authority and a loud voice, Jesus commanded, “Open this gate, for the King of Kings is coming through!”

“Who is the King of Kings?” the demon lord asked, intrigued. Jesus replied, “The Lord who is strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” The demon lord responded, “I’m sorry, that title doesn’t ring a bell. I don’t know anyone who fits that description. Besides, the battle is over, and my lord, the Devil, has won.”

Upon hearing the demon’s response, Jesus struck the gates of Hell down with a single blow, knocking away the demons at the entrance, and commanded the demon lord to take Him to his master, the Devil. The demon lord was terrified and bowed his head; he could not bear to look at Jesus’ face, for the glory radiating from Him was too great to comprehend, and Michael stood ten feet behind Jesus, guarding Him with his sword drawn.

The demon led Jesus to the chamber of the Devil, where he was celebrating with all his demons and the creatures of Hell.

The atmosphere in Hell changed upon Jesus’ arrival. His glory was so powerful that the creatures of Hell couldn’t comprehend it. Even the Devil himself couldn’t recognize Him due to the brightness of His face. Jesus cast the demon lord of the gate to the ground at the Devil’s feet. The Devil asked the demon lord, “Who is this? Why have you brought Him here? Is that not Michael standing behind Him?” Trembling in fear, the demon answered, “That is the Son of Heaven, the one they call Jesus.”

The mere mention of Jesus’ name brought thunder and lightning, shaking the place. Upon hearing His name, all the demons fell to their knees, unable to resist the powerful force it carried. Meanwhile, the Devil, furious and disgraced by the sudden submission of all his demons, charged at Jesus, thinking he could strike Him down with the power of Hell. But Jesus, in a single move, grabbed him and knocked him to the ground, breaking all his horns. Jesus then placed His foot on the Devil’s head for a moment, causing even more fear among the demons.

Jesus paraded the Devil and made an open spectacle of him in front of all his demons. After humiliating him, Jesus took all power away from the Devil, rendering him powerless. The demons trembled in fear and remained on their knees in total submission to Jesus, the Son of Heaven. They all began to hail Him, chanting, “Hail Jesus, Son of Heaven!!!!”

At that moment, Gabriel stepped forward, opened a scroll, and read aloud, stating, “It is written in the scriptures of Heaven that henceforth, at the mention of the name Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord, both in Heaven and in Hell and on Earth.”

Thereafter, the two archangels escorted Jesus out of Hell triumphantly, joining the host at the gates, and they took the Son of Heaven home to Heaven.

The tomb is empty.

In the physical realm where Jesus was buried, soldiers guarded His tomb. They had no idea why they were guarding it, but they did so because their general commanded them. Early on Sunday morning, just as Jesus said, after He had defeated sin and death, He rose from the grave to prove to His followers that He had triumphed and that the grave had been defeated.

However, the soldiers were still guarding and patrolling the grave area. Suddenly, they heard three men talking and walking hastily into town. These men were discussing having seen Jesus in the town. The soldiers called out to them and inquired about what they were saying. One of the men replied, “They say He’s alive and with His disciples in town. Many have seen Him, and we are going to see Him too.”

The other soldier said, “That’s not possible! We have been guarding this grave day and night, and the stone is still sealed.” Another soldier suggested, “Maybe it’s a ghost.” The men replied, “Ghost or no ghost, we are going to see for ourselves.” And they hurried away.

A few minutes later, the soldiers saw other people—men and women—rushing to town to see the risen Jesus. One soldier said to the others, “This is getting serious. What do we do? The general will kill us if he hears of this rumor; he will think we didn’t do our job.” One of the soldiers suggested, “Let’s open the grave and see if He’s still there.” The others disagreed, saying, “If we open it and He is there, we will be in trouble because they will ask why the seal was broken.” Another soldier added, “And if He is not in there, we will still be in trouble. So what do we do?”

After enough deliberation, they decided to open the grave, and behold, He was not there. The soldiers ran away in confusion.

The end.
